Mobile phone charger that runs on water invented for 'people who spend time away from the electricity grid'

A Swedish company has invented a charger for mobile phones, cameras and GPS devices that can power-up your electronic gadgets with little more than water. The PowerTrekk has been designed for people who 'who spend time away from the electricity grid' and do not have access to conventional power in remote locations.
The charger needs just a tablespoon of water to produce around 10 hours of phone battery life.

Baked goods sold in USA contain potassium bromate, a carcinogen banned in Europe but allowed in the US due to chemical loophole

Much of the flour sold in the United States has been treated with potassium bromate, which causes the flour to bulk up, strengthens the dough, and makes bread rise more rapidly. This decreases the time needed for baking (thereby reducing costs) and also allows the use of low quality flour that might otherwise be unsuitable for baking. There's only one problem with this: Potassium bromate causes cancer.

Potassium bromate is so widely accepted as a carcinogen that it has been banned in the European Union, Canada and even in China. U.S. law only allows the chemical to be used as an ingredient in food because it was first approved by the FDA back in 1958, before modern anti-cancer legislation went into effect. The fact that the ingredient has actually received FDA approval makes it much more difficult for it to be subsequently banned.

Most potassium bromate breaks down during the baking process, but tests have confirmed that trace amounts can remain in finished baked goods. Unfortunately for the careful consumer, U.S. law does not require that potassium bromate be listed as a separate ingredient on food labels. This is yet another example of the government making sure that you don't learn the truth about what's in your food.

See astonishing videos about this subject at www.FoodInvestigations.com

The only reliable away to avoid this poisonous ingredient is to buy organic flours and baked goods. Products sold in California must carry a warning label if potassium bromate has been used.

Heart-healthy foods that lower blood pressure, reduce symptoms of plaque and improve cardio fitness

The foods you eat bring pleasure to your palate and provide your body with powerful healing substances. Most people probably never consider that their morning grapefruit protects their blood vessels or that eating a handful of raw almonds daily can protect them from cancer. Certain heart-healthy foods have a reputation as natural cures to lower blood pressure, reduce symptoms of plaque and improve cardio fitness.

Animal proteins

Animal proteins like fresh fish and seafood are high in omega 3 oils, monounsaturated fats and calcium; all of these are helpful in reducing the risk of heart attack and managing high blood pressure problems.

Dr. Liz Applegate, a nationally renowned expert on nutrition and fitness, has created a list of 22 heart-smart foods including clams and salmon, two animal proteins low in fat and calories and high in omega 3 oils and sterols. Clams, in particular, help the body resist the symptoms of plaque buildup. Salmon is high in monounsaturated fats and calcium, both helpful in keeping cholesterol plaque at bay and reducing the risk of heart attack.

Olive oil

Studies of women with high blood pressure who were placed on a diet rich in olive oil for one month showed a marked reduction in their blood pressure levels.

Raw milk cheese

Research indicates that people who have adequate calcium consumption tend to have more luck controlling their blood pressure levels. Raw milk cheeses are high in calcium and low in sodium, making them an excellent food to help with high blood pressure problems.

Vegetables

Corn is an excellent source of folic acid and vitamin B, which protect the arteries and reduce artherosclerosis.

Onions and avocados prevent LDL or bad cholesterol from damaging blood vessel walls.

Tomatoes are high in lycopene, a potent antioxidant that has produced significant results in lowering blood pressure in patients participating in an Israeli study conducted in 2006.

Garlic's natural anti-inflammatory properties may prevent blood clots and improve overall cardio fitness.

Celery is high in vital nutrients and minerals such as potassium, magnesium and calcium, all necessary components in foods that lower blood pressure and reduce the risk of heart attack. Eating the entire plant benefits the cardiovascular system.

Choose only organic vegetables and fruits to avoid pesticides and hidden genetically modified plants that may not benefit your heart or your health.

Fresh fruits

Loaded with pectin, a natural fiber that binds to cholesterol and toxins in the blood, apples can clear the blood and lower blood pressure and cholesterol levels as much as 10 percent over a six-week period, notes Applegate.

Oranges and lemons are high in potassium and fruit pectin. Both aid the body's regulation of blood pressure and reduce cholesterol plaque from arteries.

Grapefruit supplies vitamin C, pectin, folic acid and lycopene, which help prevent symptoms of plaque by flushing LDL cholesterol from arteries and lessen high blood pressure problems.

Beans, legumes and whole grains

Both soluble and insoluble fiber are important for maintaining arterial integrity and controlling high blood pressure problems. Most beans provide soluble fiber, which is high in vitamin B and folic acid helping to reduce plaque and lower blood pressure. Whole grains like oats and oat bran flush unhealthy plaque from the system further protecting against the risk of heart attack and improving cardio fitness.

Chocolate

About 1/2 oz. of dark chocolate daily protects the heart and maintains blood pressure at normal levels. Rich in phenols, chocolate is now on the heart-smart menu for its nutrient-rich contribution that keeps arteries healthy.

Federal government teams up with Big Pharma to scrounge up new uses for failed drugs

The blending of government, private industry, and academia into a single, mega-fascist entity is moving forward at an alarmingly rapid pace in the U.S. today, with the federal government now announcing its intentions to subsidize the drug-creation efforts of Big Pharma on the taxpayer dime. A recent Reuters report explains that roughly $20 million a year may soon be extorted from hardworking Americans and given to drug companies for the sole purpose of inventing phony new medical uses for failed drug compounds.

In their endless quest to develop new "blockbuster" drugs that will generate billions of dollars a year in new profits, drug companies must continually invest in new research and development (R&D) projects with the hope that an efficacious new drug will emerge. In many cases, however, potential new drugs fail to work as intended, which means hundreds, if not thousands, of patented compounds end up getting shelved in storage laboratories where they never again see the light of day.

But all this could quickly change if the Obama-led Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) has its way. Rather than let these failed drug compounds go to "waste," why not have the taxpayers fund research into discovering new uses -- any new uses -- so that Big Pharma can recoup its losses and gain much, much more in profits? This, of course, is the mindset of HHS Secretary Kathleen Sebelius, who told reporters the goal of the project is to "teach an old drug new tricks."

Merging of government and industry means elimination of freedom

As cute as Ms. Sebelius' little quip might sound, apportioning taxpayer-funded cash infusions for failed drug research projects is nothing short of corporate-government fascism, and the very type of public-private partnership that has no place in a free republic. As much as these traitors in the federal government would have us all believe that such research is necessary to find new "cures" for disease, the real driving force behind such a setup is to further bilk the public for the purpose of enriching Big Pharma.

It is the same thing the federal government is trying to do with agriculture, as it capitulates to the demands of corporate food giants like Monsanto that seek none other than to control the world's food supply. Rather than require proper safety testing of genetically-modified organisms (GMOs) -- or at the very least, mandate transparent labeling (http://www.naturalnews.com/029168_GMO_foods_labeling.html)-- the federal government has sided with industry at the expense of the public.

Unless the American people stand up now to stop the madness, the merging of government and industry will only continue to escalate until all semblances of freedom are vanquished. And one of the main drivers of this madness is the federal income tax which, as long as Americans continue to pay it, will continue to be used to enslave them.

Cancer and Aromatherapy- "Bringing Light to Darkness"

by Linda Chudzik
When your body is injured, even if it is a simple cut, the cells surrounding the cut reproduce to replace the ones that have been harmed.  These cells "know" to stop reproducing once they have filled in the injured area.

Sometimes, however, a cell begins to reproduce for no obvious reason.  It seems to mysteriously "go out of control", almost as if it does not know it’s purpose within the organism.  The “daughter” cells that it produces form a lump or growth that the body does not recognize as a foreign invader.  This is cancer.   As if trying to find its identity, a cell from this lump or tumor spreads to another part of the body and begins reproduction there.  The most prominent and destructive characteristic of most types of cancer cells is that they are not receptive like normal cells to "turn off" or stop reproducing and die.  Eventually, cancer’s abnormal tissues and activities interfere with the body’s cell and organ functions to perform properly, and illness or death can result.

There are many theories, but no one knows exactly why some cells behave in this way.  It is known, however, that certain things increase the likelihood of certain types of cancer.  Environmental factors and diet are widely believed to be two of the major causes of cancer.  Many believe factors such as cigarette smoking and poor dietary habits increase the risk of cancer because they impair the immune system.  In addition to blaming diet and environmental pollutants, many experts link cancer to stress.

Personal Experience
At age 40 I was diagnosed with breast cancer.  Fortunately, I caught it early. There is breast cancer in my family, so I had been going in for my yearly mammograms since age 35.  The previous 7 –10 years were very stressful for me.  Looking closely at my life one might say that I brought the stress on to myself as I went through years of personal turmoil trying to determine my identity or an identity that I felt satisfied with.  I went through a divorce, took on school and a couple of part-time jobs, to support my handicapped daughter and myself.  Then one day I decided to pack up and move to another town.  My diagnosis of breast cancer came three difficult years later.  It turned out to be a three-year struggle resulting in a bi-lateral mastectomy and chemotherapy.  I became exhausted, frustrated and quite frankly was at the "end of my rope".

I went to see a Chiropractor that was very knowledgeable in nutrition.  Dr. Carl Jelstrup at Family Health, in Bellevue, gave me very individualized counseling regarding my diet.  He also used “kinesiology” or “muscle testing” to determine my nutritional need or what supplement my body was lacking. Whatever he recommended for me worked and I started to feel better.  There was hope.  (Just a note, as a plug for Chiropractic even during Chemotherapy, Steve Mathewson, one of Dr. Jelstrups’ partners, gave me a chiropractic adjustment at least twice weekly.  My overall health remained strong and I had a sense that my immune system was given a boost in spite of the harshness of the chemotherapy drugs).

Once, when I was in to see Dr. Jelstrup for an adjustment, I had a terrible toothache.  I was just beginning Chemotherapy at the time and did not feel I could endure dental work.  Dr. Jelstrup recommended the essential oil of  “Oregano” to be diluted with olive oil and applied to my tooth where there was pain.  He said that the essential oil of oregano was highly anti-bacterial.  I had never heard of such a thing, but I did it and the results were absolutely incredible!  The pain completely disappeared during the night.   I had to know more about essential oils and started reading everything I could find about essential oils and Aromatherapy.  Lavender, of course, was the next marvel that I discovered for my insomnia and anxiety.

My next discovery was in the area of  "Energy Healing" or "Natural Force Healing", created by Dr. Ken and Lisa Davis in New Jersey, and performed here by Jeanne Kreider, one of the practitioners in Dr. Jelstrup’s office.  "Natural Force Healing" is a method or practice of balancing a persons’ electrical energy field, which is based on the principal of the triune of well-being.  When utilized it can obtain optimal balance of the body, mind and spirit.  Every person is a triangle of well-being.  If one aspect of the triune is out of balance, all aspects distort, creating side effects such as physical pain, disease, depression, fear, stress, or lack of faith.  It is interesting to note that in this modality of healing it is believed that the physical aspect or “body” of the triangle accounts for just 1% of the breakdown, the mind or emotions 9%, and the remaining 90% originates from the spiritual aspect of our well being.   It’s no wonder that it would be prudent to look deeper into our souls when disease becomes apparent in our lives!

The Miasm
At the Fourth Wholistic Aromatherapy Conference on the Therapeutic Uses of Essential Oils in San Francisco in November of 2000, Dr. Bruce Berkowsky, founder/teacher of the Natural Health Science System™, gave a fascinating lecture on "Essential Oils and the Cancer Miasm".   I found it absolutely intriguing considering my own experience with cancer and my studies in “energy work”.

Bruce Berkowsky states that a miasm is a reactional mode, or predisposition, to disease transmitted from generation to generation bioenergetically rather than by a genetic mechanism.  (The word miasm comes from the Greek word miasma meaning stain, pollution or defilement)  The themes of loss of control and inability to establish one’s personal identity are characteristic of the Cancer Miasm.  Some of the primary essential oils found effective in treating this miasm are: angelica (Angelica archangelica); geranium (Pelargonium graveolens); lemon (Citrus limonum): pine (Pinus sylvestris).

The identification of an individual’s prominent miasmatic influences, and specific essential oil responses to them, assists in differential diagnosis regarding essential oil selection.  Also, it opens up a new, heretofore unexplored, dynamic in Aromatherapy which enables the practitioner to more effectively penetrate the layering of superficial symptoms in a case and gain access to the germinal, central disturbance of the dynamic plane from which those symptoms emanate.

The focus of Berkowsky’s work, which he refers to as Spiritual PhytoEssencing Protocol, is not a direct action upon disease symptoms, but rather a way to find and work upon the core issue that lies beneath the surface or “false self” which attempts to shelter and contain the weaknesses in the "true self".  I interpret this to be very similar to the approach taught at the "Institute of Dynamic Aromatherapy", in which Jade Shutes teaches and encourages her students to look with intuition at what is the core issue beyond the obvious symptoms.  The term "Dynamic" Aromatherapy encourages us to look beyond the mere chemistry of essential oils and to begin to develop an understanding of the essential oils based upon their plant signatures or characteristic morphological features.

Anthroposophic Science and Medicine, which is a unique blend of conventional and spiritual science developed by Rudolf Steiner, teaches that plants produce fragrance as a means of absorbing “the soul” of the sun, which contains the essence of spirit.  Rudolf Steiner notes: "Matter is most spiritual in the perfume of the plant.  When the spirit most closely approaches the physical earth, then we have the perception of fragrance."  Kabbalah scholar Dr. Phillip Berg writes:  “That which is closer to the source (i.e., The Infinite) is said to be stronger, higher, loftier…The seed knows everything about the tree while the roots and branches have a more limited perspective…So what is stronger?  That which is closest to the source.”

Therefore, an essential oil, as the carrier of the plant soul, is a potent storehouse of all aspects of the source plant.  On a similar note, Kabbalah scholar Rabbi Yechiel Bar Lev, using fruit as an example, explains:  "In order to reach the essence of the fruit…we must relate to its innermost aspects, its spiritual dimension.  This dimension is called the Godly spark of the object"  "…each and every object has its Godly dimension, which is the reality revealed when the material aspect is stripped away."

A miasm is a homeopathic concept, believed by many natural health researchers to be of a predisposition or a reactional mode to disease transmitted from generation to generation bioenergetically, rather than by the accepted avenue of genetics and heredity.  Samuel Hahnemann, the founder of homeopathy, came up with the theory of miasms after experiencing a great deal of failure in the treatment of chronic diseases.  He lamented that:  "…the disease would continue to progress and the remedies employed would do little or no good."

Hahnemann believes that there are three basic miasms: Psoric, sycotic and syphilitic.  Each evolves from an infectious taint that is passed down from generation to generation.  His theory is that the Psoric miasm, the most basic miasm, derives from suppressed scabies, the Sycotic, from suppressed gonorrhea, and the Syphilitic, from suppressed syphilis.  Over the years, homeopaths have defined the existence of other miasms, which include: Acute, Alcohol, Cancer, Leprous Malarial, Rabies, Radiation, Ringworm, Tubercular and Typhoid.  It is believed that the character of the miasm yields the character of the disease or the form of the illness.  It is important to differentiate the miasm from the actual disease.

An individual may show a strong disposition toward the Cancer Miasm but never in their lifetime suffer from cancer.  Again, the miasm is not an actual disease state, but a set of constitutional characteristics and reactional tendencies that resemble the pattern of that particular disease.  If identification of these miasms can be made and corresponding essential oils are then recommended and applied in treatment, a new “dynamic” in aromatherapy becomes available: a means by which a practitioner is able to penetrate the layers of  “superficial symptoms and gain access to the germinal, central disturbance of the dynamic plane from which those symptoms emanate.”  (As quoted previously by Bruce Berkowsky)

The Cancer Miasm
There are two major themes of the Cancer Miasm.  The first is, "Everything is so out of control.  I need to bring things under control again, or I will be destroyed".  There is a chaos, a sense of breaking away, and the feeling of helplessness that, "I can do nothing about it".  This person feels he must stretch to his limits in order to keep things in control.  Usually, he tends to be a perfectionist in order to maintain control over himself and his surroundings.  A superhuman effort is needed in order to survive.
The second major theme involves the inability to develop a sense of individuality.  Those who feature the Cancer Miasm may manifest an enormous difficulty in establishing their own unique, individual identities.
The combination of both Cancer Miasm themes: everything is out of control and the inability to develop a sense if individuality is not unlike the actual cellular pathology associated with cancer.  Often, in those cancer cases where emotional factors present themselves as the "core issues" in relationship to the disease, both Cancer Miasm themes are prominent.

Some of the other emotional symptoms and characteristics of the Cancer Miasm individual are:  excessive fear and apprehension, melancholia, fear of death, fear of disease, despair of recovery, symptoms worse at night and when alone, symptoms better in company, prostration, contradictory states of mind and body, intensity, restlessness, sense of being unfulfilled, works excessively, desire for travel and excitement, ailments from domination by others, sensitive to admonition, sympathetic, oversensitive, anxiety for others, sentimental, romantic, passionate, feelings of neglect, despair, of being unloved, passion to read, strong sense of duty, love of animals, love of dancing, family history of diabetes, infertility, never well since mononucleosis, history of tonsillitis, desire for chocolate.

In the Cancer Miasm individual there is often a history of high expectations by the parents, excessive parental control, suppression and/or abuse during childhood, strong, deep attachment to the family.  The person is trying to be perfect, and in so doing stretches him or herself to the limit and finds no rest or freedom from tension.

The Anthroposophic Perspective of Cancer
According to anthroposophic medicine, which is a unique blend of conventional and spiritual science developed by Rudolf Steiner, the human being consists of a physical body that is energetically governed by three constituent elements of vital force: the etheric body, the astral body, and the spirit body.
The first of these is the etheric body, which is the invisible organization of formative forces that connects the physical body into a living entity.  The etheric body houses an exact energetic replica of the physical body, providing a "blueprint".  This level is strengthened by water and good health, including physical exercise.

The second element is the astral body which houses our feelings and emotions and our relationships with people, animals, plants, our environment and the universe.  It is responsible for all instincts, desires, passions, attractions, repulsions and movement.  It is the conscious state that facilitates and makes animal life possible.  The astral body perceives and internalizes impressions from the external world, which are then given an expression in the form of behavioral responses and movement.  Within the body, air is the operative medium of the astral body.

The third constituent element is the spirit body, which is responsible for higher consciousness and the recognition of "Self".  Whereas animals are subject to their instincts and impulses, the spirit body provides human beings with the ability to modify or resist them.  The spirit body expresses itself in thinking that allows for introspection, objectivity and the development of spirituality.  Truth, beauty and goodness as well as a conscience that differentiates between good and evil evolves here.  It connects us to our spiritual self, and by it we are given a certain freedom to shape our own particular path and knowing of one’s life purpose.
A state of harmony with the physical body and these three constituent elements: etheric, astral and spiritual bodies, is a prerequisite of true health.

Rosalyn Bruyere, author of Wheels of Light, explains that an abnormality in the auric field can be a warning that something is wrong in the physical body even though there may not yet be any physical symptoms.  She also believes that disease manifests first in these subtle bodies on an energetic level, and then condenses to manifest in the physical body.  Rudolf Steiner goes on to theorize that, “Normal cellular growth can be defined as a process of etheric body-driven multiplication controlled by the sculpturing influences of the astral and spirit bodies.  In contrast, cancerous growth is a manifestation of a disequilibrium between the etheric multiplication force and the higher sculpturing forces, resulting in inadequate metamorphosis of the etheric force and withdrawal of the higher form-producing forces.”

Victor Bott, M.D., writes:  "When the organizing forces of the spirit and astral bodies withdraw…the organ is exposed to external influences and becomes the plaything of chaotic forces."  Instead of order maintained by higher constitutional elements, one sees the inner disorder, which occurs, so frequently in our modern world.  In reaction to chaos, the cells, instead of working together in an orderly way, begin to live a life of their own – proliferating freely and falling prey to influences arising from the physical world.  Malignancy is the expression of a disorganizing action of diverse external influences which the internal forces of organization are no longer able to control.  The appearance of a tumor is not the beginning of cancer but a sign of its last phase of development.  The tumor itself is really only a sign that the cancer illness has become localized.

Edward C. Whitmont writes:  “We may view illness as the result of resistance to the ‘breaking in’ of new dissipative energies and informational morphic fields which are potentially ‘meant’ to differentiate and renew life and awareness.”  In reference to a breast cancer case, which he describes, Whitmont observes: "What could not lead to psychological growth grew as cancer tissue instead."

This poses an important question: Could it be that cancer (as well as other serious diseases) could be prevented or alleviated to a great degree by simply maintaining harmony on all three of these vital force levels?  If so, then I believe that essential oils combined with energetic modalities of natural healing and homeopathy offer a tremendous hope for the treatment of this devastating disease.

Angelica and the Cancer Miasm
The following essential oils are well suited to treat the Cancer Miasm—they include:  Angelica (Angelica archangelica), Frankincense (Boswellia carterii), Geranium (Pelargonium graveolens), Ginger (Zingiber officinalis), Lemon (Citrus limonum), Neroli (Citrus aurantium), Patchouli (Pogostemon cablin), Pine (Pinus sylvestris), and Violet leaf (Viola odorata).  Most of these oils contain the chemical constituent Limonene and related terpenoids, which have been shown to prevent carcinogen-induced mammary cancer.  In the discussion that follows, we will look at how angelica can be used to treat the Cancer Miasm.

Angelica (Angelica archangelica) is in the Umbelliferae family whose members have a strong affinity for the process of aeration, reaching out from the watery element from which they thrive and up into the airy element.  Angelica is a water loving plant that is found growing near streams and rivers or wetlands.   The root of the Angelica plant, in particular, has the strong affinity for water.  The umbelliferaes tend to have hollow stems and stalks, inflated leaf sheaths and air-chambered rootstocks.  Umbelliferae’s, angelica included, strive to bond with the realm of air - the medium of one of the three constituent elements of vital force: the astral body.
As plants are essentially etheric organisms whose formative forces are water-dependent, by reaching out to the airy element and becoming aerated, angelica draws from the astral plane (air) and incorporates it into its fluid nature.  This feature of joining air and water / astral and etheric, is the foundation of angelica’s clinical benefits.  Angelica’s essential oils are extracted from either the seeds or the roots of the angelica plant (for this discussion we will refer to the essence extracted from the root).

In anthroposophic science, the root of the plant, due to the diversity of its sensory functions, is associated with the human nerve-sense system and the metabolic limb system.  As a root oil, angelica is believed to have very strong associations with both of these systems.  It is through the root that the plant confronts the soil "universe".  The root must discern the enormous menu of substances in the soil and choose or grasp the ones that it requires for its growth.  This selectivity equates to the human consciousness facilitated by the nerve-sense organs of the head, because the head organ shows similar selectivity when sifting through the bombardment of incoming sensory data from the outer world (keep in mind, as earlier discussed, the astral body perceives and internalizes impressions from the external world, which are then given expression in the form of behavioral responses and choice of movement).

Furthermore, the roots’ ability to select or choose is based upon its sense of Self, as each plant will select different substances in accordance with its individuality as a plant organism.  Similarly, the spirit and astral bodies of human beings are charged with establishing a consciousness of Self.  The root of the plant absorbs mineral salts out of the earth and utilizes them for growth and nutrition.  These salts permeate the plant and make it an earth organism.  The human head can be compared to a hardened root, as it must process that which it chooses to consume or absorb.  This absorption continues to initiate the process of solidification, and tissue contraction to elimination.

Root oils have obvious metabolic associations as well.  They are actively involved in the processes of nutritional absorption, and the processes involved with the intake of fluid and hydration.  The intestinal system is a type of “inner root” that draws nutrients and water into the blood.  With Angelica’s dual air/water affinities, and its link to both upper and lower poles of the body (head and bowel), it lends great potential to integrate the nerve-sense forces (which depend upon air) into the metabolic processes which require a watery medium.  Therefore, it may prove an exceptional treatment of mental exhaustion due to nutritional depletion as well as for a variety of gastrointestinal symptoms linked to the failure of the astral body to incarnate from the head into the metabolism.  Indicators include indigestion, flatulence and nausea.

Looking at one of the major symptoms in the Cancer Miasm, loss of control, we see a dysfunctional relationship between the astral and etheric bodies.    For some recipients, for example, angelica rehydrates or revives volatile emotions like exhaustion and anxiety, and aerates sodden ones such as moodiness, “heartache” and alcohol addiction.  There is an element of violence in the animal nature of the astral body that makes its direct action on the physical body harsh and unfeasible and such actions can result in spasm, pain, tissue destruction and depletion.  Therefore, the astral body’s passions and drives must be buffered by, and communicated through, the watery medium of the etheric body.

Angelica is noted as a medicine for gastric ulcers and colic—the former, due to astral passions expending themselves upon stomach tissue, and the latter, due to astral-induced intestinal spasms.  As a balancer of air and water, angelica is not only beneficial for excesses of the astral body, but of the etheric body as well.

Again, when the astral body inadequately incarnates into the metabolism, the etheric forces are unchecked, thus, cellular overgrowth and loss of control of the fluid organism may occur.  This becomes particularly evident in the glands which are primarily etheric organs.  Angelica has proven to be very helpful for swelling, inflammation and swelling of the lymph nodes, especially of the head and neck region.

Angelica oil may also offer a way of responding to the bioenergetic aspect of cancers of the fluid organism such as leukemia and Hodgkin’s Disease, both of which involve lymphoid tissues and are characterized by etheric hyperproliferation and misguided astral behavior.

Angelica and the Angels
Taking a moment to look at the intriguing nature of Angelica is to examine its name.  From the Bible in Genesis 28: 10:-13, Jacob’s ladder dream is described:  "He had a dream; a ladder was standing on the ground and its top reached toward heaven, and God’s angels were going up and down it.  Suddenly he saw God standing over him."  Angels are messengers between the heavenly and earthy realms.  In the Kabbalah (the Jewish mystical teachings), the rungs of Jacob’s ladder represent the levels of the spiritual world, which can only be bound together while they are standing on earth.  Rabbi Shoni Labowitz writes:  "…the angels are continuously ascending and descending the rungs of the spiritual ladder of life.  The angels… act as receptors, assisting you in implementing ideas and answering needs." The angels balance and harmonize the world of feelings (i.e., physical, etheric and astral bodies) with the world of pure emanation (i.e., spiritual body).  Therefore, Angelica’s name powerfully indicates its role of reestablishing the governance or order of the spirit body within the human life.  Without this governance, there is the loss of control and lack of ability to develop the unique Self, which characterizes the Cancer Miasm.

Conclusion
Almost all organic processes generate energy waves or a frequency.  For example, cell division is accompanied by a subtle radiation of light.  However, it is known that cancer cells emit no light rays when they undergo cell division.  They are withdrawn from the light organism.

This causes me to notice an interesting parallel between darkness and light occurring in the constant process of cell recreation, and the biblical story of the creation of the universe.  In Genesis Chapter 1, it reads:  In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth.  Now the earth was formless and empty, darkness was over the surface of the deep, and the Spirit of God was hovering over the waters.  And God said, "Let there be light, and there was light.  God saw that the light was good and he separated the light from the darkness."  First, there was darkness, and then light was created.  After the existence of light, the creation of all living things began.

With discoveries of the powers already existing in nature, we are learning to channel this process of creation directly into the human situation of the Cancer Miasm by encouraging light (harmony/health) to prevent darkness (chaos/cancer).  The connection between essential oils and their abilities to bring balance to our whole being—body, mind and spirit—may be the major breakthrough against cancer that mankind is so desperately searching for.

There is so much meaningless and chaos in our modern life.  Most cancer researchers agree that there is no truly definable reason why cancer exists.  Perhaps with the beauty and the light that essential oils offer to man, we can utilize them to pierce through the darkness and begin to overcome cancer by achieving balance through a higher, more whole mode of existence.

Changing the oil in your car every 3,000 miles may be SCAM!

Since my earliest days as a driver, it was drummed into my head by my dad and auto mechanics everywhere: Take care of your car and it will take care of you. And one of the most effective maintenance steps I could take, they told me, was changing the oil in my ride every 3,000 miles. Ah, but the times, they are a-changing.

According to the most recent research, those of us who change oil in our cars - especially those less than five years old - are likely wasting both money and oil.

Granted, the experts still say some of the same things I've always heard - dirty oil damages engines by creating sludgy build-up and clogging engine parts. And knowing exactly when is the best interval to use when implementing an oil-change regime is difficult to pin down. But this isn't the 1970s anymore, when motors were a lot less efficient.

Some cars can wait up to 15,000 miles!

Those old V-8s, while cool and fast, were not the technological wonders that engines are today, the experts say. Besides, most of them used 10W40-weight oil, "which tended to wear out within about 3,000 miles," said one report. At the factory, tighter tolerances on engine assembly lines have also improved, making for less wear and tear. Finally, automobile technology simply makes engines work less and run more efficiently.

In addition to building better engines the oil itself has improved - dramatically. New technologies in lubricant development have made them better and longer-lasting.

Because of that, the 3,000-mile requirement just doesn't apply to most new cars being manufactured these days. Some automakers are recommending oil changes at 5,000-, 7,000-, 10,000- and even 15,000-mile intervals.

"For example, Toyota recommends you change oil at 5,000 miles for a 2005 Tacoma pickup, Honda recommends 7,500 miles for its 2002 Odyssey, General Motors suggests 7,500 miles for its 2007 Chevrolet Malibu, and Ford recommends 10,000 miles for its 2011 Fiesta," said the report.

Other cars have higher tolerances. The 2008 Porsche Boxter can be driven 12,000 miles between oil changes, while a 2010 BMW 3 Series can go as long as 15,000, under ideal conditions.

That all said, it's no wonder consumers are a bit confused and why many may simply be sticking with the tried-and-true 3,000-mile rule, despite its hit on your pocketbook and the environment.

Save oil, time and money by following your car's recommended oil change interval

To illustrate, some 10 million California drivers change the oil in their cars every 3,000 miles. That amounts to 114 million gallons of oil per year, or enough to fill 173 Olympic-sized swimming pools, a recent study by CalRecycle found.

A spokesman for the organization, Jeff Danzinger, said drivers could save as much as 10 million gallons of oil per year if they'd just change their oil according to the manufacturer's recommendation.

"If you're changing your oil too soon, you're needlessly creating waste oil and putting a strain on the system and supply," he told TruCar.com.

What does his mean for you? If you're spending about 30 bucks for an oil change, on average, you could cut your oil-change costs per year in half. Depending on the amount you drive, that could be worth hundreds of dollars a year.

Figuring out what oil-change interval is recommended for your car, especially if it's a late-model, is as easy as opening the glove box and checking your owner's manual. Or, your car itself may tell you when it's time. Called an "Oil Life Monitoring System," many makes and models now include such technology. Finally, you could always check online. http://www.checkyournumber.org/

If you don't drive much at all, you should still change your oil once a year, say the experts.

"Unless you're driving a car that's more than ten years old, or under super extreme conditions, there's really no reason to change your oil at 3,000 miles anymore," says TruCar.com.

U.S. Senator sounds alarm about 'precarious' Fukushima situation, warns of imminent release of radiation

Authored by: by Mike Adams, the Health Ranger

U.S. Senator Ron Wyden is, as far as Senators go, an honorable guy. I don't agree with all his politics, but I actually used to live in his district in Oregon when he was a congressman (1981 - 1996), and I remember him standing out as someone who genuinely seemed to care about the People.

To my knowledge, Sen. Wyden is the only U.S. Senator who has actually visited the Fukushima Daiichi nuclear power facility and warned the U.S. public about what he saw. And what did he see? A wrecked, half-collapsed building site littered with massive collections of nuclear fuel rods that now threaten the entire Northern hemisphere with a radiation apocalypse. (http://www.naturalnews.com/035789_Fukushima_Cesium-137_Plume-Gate.htm...)

When Wyden returned to the USA following the visit, he immediately issued an urgent warning, now reprinted on his website. In the watered-down language of political correctness, the warning is still quite strong. As his website says: (http://www.wyden.senate.gov/news/press-releases/after-tour-of-fukushi...)

Wyden's principal concern is the relocation of spent fuel rods currently being stored in unsound structures immediately adjacent to the ocean. He strongly urged the Ambassador to accept international help to prevent dangerous nuclear material from being released into the environment.

He then went on to say, in his own words: (emphasis added)

"The scope of damage to the plants and to the surrounding area was far beyond what I expected and the scope of the challenges to the utility owner, the government of Japan, and to the people of the region are daunting. The precarious status of the Fukushima Daiichi nuclear units and the risk presented by the enormous inventory of radioactive materials and spent fuel in the event of further earthquake threats should be of concern to all and a focus of greater international support and assistance."

His website goes on to say something that should stun anyone who understands the threat of radioactive contamination of the environment:

"Wyden found that the facilities designed to house spent nuclear fuel and the reactors themselves were still in a state of disrepair and located in areas that would make them susceptible to further damage from future seismic events. The reactor buildings still contain large amounts of spent fuel -- making them a huge safety risk and the only protection from a future tsunami, Wyden observed, is a small, makeshift sea wall erected out of bags of rock."

Did you catch that last part? The only protection from a tsunami is a "makeshift sea wall erected out of bags or rock."

And to think, the fate of the world now depends on us all just "lucking out" and crossing our fingers in the hope that no earthquake or tsunami takes place before they clean up the Fukushima facility mess.

Which brings up the question: What exactly is being done to clean up the Fukushima facility mess?

In a word, nothing.

Governments play pretend

Virtually nothing is happening. All the governments involved (Japan and USA, primarily) are playing a ridiculously stupid game of pretending there is no problem. The Japanese government, for its part, has decided that instead of admitted to a radiation problem, it's easier to just tell Japanese citizens they have a mental disorder if they're concerned about radiation (http://www.prisonplanet.com/fear-of-radiation-treated-as-psychiatric-...).

The U.S. government plays a similar mind game, raising the allowable levels of radiation exposure by thousands of times and then declaring Fukushima fallout to be suddenly safe! (http://www.naturalnews.com/031963_radiation_exposure.html)

Governments, in other words, are in denial mode even while Fukushima smolders and hurls us all toward irreversible global disaster.

If Fukushima were a "terrorist," the U.S. government would stop at nothing to defeat it

What's really telling in all this is that if a "terrorist" organization were threatening the USA with the same amount of nuclear material held at Fukushima, the U.S. would take immediate and decisive action to eliminate that threat. For the record, the Fukushima Daiichi nuclear facility has enough radioactive material to make thousands of terrorist "dirty bombs".

All that radioactive material now threatens America, but because it is subjected to random "natural" causes (earthquakes, tsunamis, etc.) instead of "terrorist" causes, the U.S. government has stupidly chosen to ignore it. It's not politically advantageous to talk about Fukushima, you see, because it doesn't fit into the false theatrical narrative of terrorists threatening America.

This leaves us all in a frustratingly idiotic catch-22, where governments refuse to address a problem that threatens the world unless and until the problem explodes in their faces, at which point it is too late to address it.

All this leads to the obvious solution for resolving the Fukushima conundrum. The way to get governments to address Fukushima is to allow the facility to be taken over by terrorists! Only then will the U.S. government consider the threat to be real, since the entire government only sees things through "terrorist glasses."

The science of denial

Of course, the real source of all this terror is the arrogance of modern science itself, which now threatens the very survival of the human race. As I recently wrote here on NaturalNews, the human race is being "suicided" in the name of science. (http://www.naturalnews.com/035790_scientific_suicide_humans.html)

Science has become a far greater threat than terrorism could ever imagine, because in the name of "science," we have been placed in the crosshairs of not just a nuclear apocalypse, but also the disastrous effects of self-replicating genetic pollution via GMOs.

"Science" has handed us antibiotic-resistant superbugs, the global pollution of crops and soils with synthetic pesticides, the death of the honey bees, and the mass poisoning of children with mercury through dentistry and vaccines (among other crimes). "Science" told us that nuclear power was safe ... yet here we are in 2012, on the verge of an event that could kill a quarter of the human population on the planet, and all the scientists can do is deny any problem exists at all.

Denial may be an effective psychological tactic in politics and poker, but unfortunately for the rest of us it does not alter the laws of physics. "Denial" does not change the 30-year half life of Cesium-137, a radioactive isotope that mimics the mineral potassium and thus is easily absorbed into food crops, poisoning the entire food supply.

Denial is not a tactic of genuine leaders; it is a last-ditch desperate ploy of the weak-minded.

We are living in the land of denial, led by elected denialists who are voted into office by working-class denialists. Denial has become our modus operandi, our fabric of fairytales. It has allowed our civilization to ride high on a global debt pyramid and it will be the harbinger of our ultimate destruction at the hands of "scientists" who promised us life but delivered us unto death.

Ways to use Hydrogen Peroxide in the Garden

The benefits of hydrogen peroxide for a garden can be useful for any kind of a garden, and any method of gardening. Peroxide is great for plants that are planted in the ground, and it’s also great for plants in containers -- it is useful in hydroponic gardens, raised beds, and greenhouses.
Similarly, peroxide for gardening applies well with all kinds of plants: a rose garden, herb garden, vegetable garden, orchard, shade trees, flower garden or lawn -- any or all of these would benefit from hydrogen peroxide.
Peroxide works by releasing oxygen. It acts as an oxygen supplement for plants. It seems to really support both good health and strong growth for plants.
Hydrogen peroxide can also help with soil fungus: it aerates the soil, and it is anti-fungal. (It is also anti-bacterial.)

Ways to use peroxide in the garden

  • General fertilizer, either in plant water or sprayed on foliage. This page has much more detail about how to mix and apply peroxide in the garden.
  • For sick plants. Spray on the leaves and add to water.
  • Hydroponic gardening. Hydroponic gardeners often use peroxide to feed plants, by adding it to the watering system.
  • Spray on tree cuts, to prevent infection.
  • As a spray in the greenhouse, to control mold and mildew.
  • Sprouting seeds before planting. Added to the water that seeds soak in, the seeds will sprout faster and grow stronger.
  • Rooting cuttings. Added to the water, if you’ve put the cuttings directly into water. Or, if you’ve put the cuttings into soil or medium, use peroxide in the water you’re using to water the cuttings with.
  • Mold or fungus on plants or in the soil. Hydrogen peroxide will help to control mold on plants or in the soil. If you’ve got mold on the plant, spraying the leaves is probably best…
  • Weed killer. I’ve never used it this way, and I’m not sure I would want to… but I’ve read that 10% hydrogen peroxide will kill weeds. Personally, I would rather pull the weeds up. If you do decide to try this, I certainly would NOT use 10% peroxide close to other plants… and I would come back later and add a LOT of water after the unwanted plants ("weeds") have died. This is very very very concentrated……

How much peroxide to use in the garden….

Peroxide for sprouting seeds and rooting cuttings…

Here is a science fair project using hydrogen peroxide for sprouting seeds and rooting cuttings. In this experiment you have a choice of either sprouting seeds or rooting cuttings. Either way, different amounts of hydrogen peroxide are used, and the results then compared.

Hydrogen peroxide in earth’s natural watering system (rain)

When the garden is watered by rain, there is a small amount of hydrogen peroxide in the water. It is part of the earth’s cleaning system.....

As rain comes through earth’s ozone layer, some of the molecules of water (H2O) pick up an additional oxygen atom (O), becoming H2O2 – hydrogen peroxide!

Oxygen is O2, while ozone is O3. Ozone is very unstable -that third oxygen atom moves on easily. So the water has no trouble picking up some single oxygen atoms.

Hydrogen peroxide is also very unstable -oxygen is readily freed up to oxidize various things that it encounters (such as bacteria, viruses, mold, pollution…) In the process of oxidation, the hydrogen peroxide (H2O2) is broken back down into water (H20) and oxygen (O).

Hydrogen peroxide will oxidize many kinds of pathogens and pollution, so it helps to clean the air, as the rain falls. I’ve read that there is currently less peroxide in rain water than was common in the past, since oxidizing air pollution now "uses up" much of the peroxide. (Hydrogen peroxide is always "used up" by the oxidation process.)

Now, I think that cleaning up some of the pollution in the air is a fine use for hydrogen peroxide, as the air after a rain is so much nicer to breathe. But our plants like peroxide too!

Occupy organic vegetable gardens - Rebirth of the Victory garden

During World Wars I and II, private citizens were encouraged to plant Victory gardens in an effort to support the war effort and take the strain off the food industry, providing more food for citizens living at home. Little gardens popped up all over the country and they were called Victory gardens because people envisioned a victorious end to strife, sadness and hardship. Victory gardens in the U.S. produced a staggering 40% of the food supply. The Victory garden campaign resulted in 5 million gardens tended by over 20 million Americans, providing over $1.2 billion in food by the end of WWII.

Victory gardens were planted on every available plot of land -- whether postage-stamp sized or covering several acres. The gardening campaign took the country by storm, with people being empowered by raising their own fresh, organic (because there wasn't anything else back then) fruits and vegetables; coupled with the hope of victory over adversity and better times to come.

Recently, a renewed interest in creating organic home vegetable gardens has arisen in the U.S., especially with the advent of genetically modified (GM) seeds and foods taking over shelves in grocery stores across the country. Gardens of all kinds are sprouting and flourishing in containers, on backyard fences, on decks, pallets and even in the earth. Many of the new gardens are being grown with organic, heirloom seeds to avoid the suspicious pitfalls of GM seeds. Creative methods of watering and fertilizing complement new garden ideas.

What's all the excitement about? The concept of victory over adversity in an economy that has broken millions of citizens and torn apart age-old communities still straining with the burden of war, has again reared its hopeful head from under the trash heap of discarded junk food and processed packages of chemicals and crap.

Backyard gardens promise natural foods that fortify and nurture the body and the earth; along with the freedom to choose what to plant and what to eat -- offering a new version of an old way of living.

How to occupy your vegetable garden

How can you participate in this grassroots side of the occupy movement? Plant a garden! Even if you only have a small patio hanging 30 floors above street level in the middle of a smog-filled city, get a few containers and some good dirt and plant organic heirloom seeds to grow tomatoes and herbs.

Learn about companion planting for natural pest control. Companion planting not only helps manage insects and other bothersome critters; it's a platform for planting seeds that help each other grow stronger and increases overall yields.

Compost, compost, compost. Throw your garden and cooking leftovers (fruits and veggies only, please) in an organic, bio-degradable compost pile and make your own dirt.

Teach your kids how to garden and grow their own food so they don't have to be dependent on the corrupt system.

If you don't want to garden yourself, offer some of your property to your neighbors for a community garden. Help them buy supplies in trade for some of the bounty they grow on your land.

Learn about biodynamic gardening, organic composting, heirloom seeds, raised beds, vertical gardening, natural irrigation methods, rain water collection and ideal areas for planting and pasturing fruit trees.

It doesn't take much to plant seeds in your garden. It's your right to choose what you put on your dining table and in your mouth, Plant a Victory garden and occupy your vegetable patch with earthly delights -- big or small. Add real fruits and vegetables to your diet and put health back into your life.

15 Alternative Uses for Coffee Filters

Tea Bags. Wrap loose leaf tea in a filter, then secure and suspend from a piece of string.

Line potted plants. Put a used coffee filter in the bottom of planters to prevent fine dirt particles from falling through the bottom.

Help little hands stay clean. Though adults should be responsible and not rely on disposable dinnerware, sometimes a coffee filter is the perfect size to contain finger foods (and protect carpet or clothing) in young hands. Try shove a popsicle stick through a filter to catch cold, sticky drips.

Embroidering. Use a coffee filter as an easy-to-tear backing for embroidering soft fabrics.
When making soups or sauces. Tie up flavorful, but unedible, ingredients- such as bay leafs, cinnamon sticks, woody herb stems – in a coffee filter and float while cooking for easy removal. The French call this a bouquet garni.

As a coffee filter. Coffee filters can be reused four or five times. One the pot is full, empty the grounds and reuse, then rinse the filter and let it dry, and it’ll be ready the next morning.

Save a bottle of wine.
If your cork accidentally breaks when opening a bottle, wrap a filter around the top to strain any particles. Use a piece of ribbon, and it looks nicer than you’d think.

Protect Cast Iron. Place a coffee filter in cast iron cookware to absorb excess moisture and prevent rust.
Strain bacon drippings. While hot, pour bacon drippings through a coffee filter into a ceramic bowl or mug. The brown bits, grains, and other nasties stay in the filter. Also works well for frying oil.

Prevent microwave splatters.
Place on top of leftovers when microwaving to prevent messes. Wash and dry, and reuse every time you microwave.

Soften lights when taking indoor photos. Put a coffee filter over lights, lamps, or even your flash to lessen the harshness of direct light.

Create faux flowers
. Dip coffee filters in colored water, and allow them to slurp up the tint. (Alternatively, wet them and color with markers). Let them dry, then cut in petal shapes. Arrange and wrap around a bamboo skewer or pipe cleaner, and secure. Great for kids, and tongue-in-check for adults.

Prevent cookware and china from scratching. Place a coffee filter between china when stacking to protect the surface, or use between non-stick cookware when storing.

Measuring cups for dry ingredients. Use coffee filters to hold pre-measured dry ingredients when baking or creating a fast-cooking recipe (like a stir-fry or pad thai). Then dust them off, and REUSE.

Reusable dusting rags. Wipe soft surfaces – like glass TV screens or mirrors – with a coffee filter to grab the dust. Rinse and let dry, and reuse.

Note: Coffee filters are paper products, and shouldn’t be used wastefully. Most of the time, they can be rinsed and continually reused for similar purposes. Common tricks, like using coffee filters as bowls for snacks and chips, should be avoided in favor of solid, washable serving vessels.

Top 10 Uses For Used Coffee Grounds

10. Deodorizer. Dry them out on a cookie sheet and then put them in a bowl in your refrigerator or freezer, or rub them on your hands to get rid of food prep smells.

9. Plant food. Plants such as rosebushes, azaleas, rhododendrons, evergreen and camellias that prefer acidic soils will appreciate the leftovers from your morning cup. Also, grounds can add nutrients to your compost bin.

8. Insect repellant. Sprinkle old grounds around places you don’t want ants, or on the ant piles themselves. The little buggers will move on or stay away. Used grounds are also said to repel snails and slugs.

7. Dye. By steeping grounds in hot water, you can make brown dye for fabric, paper and even Easter eggs.

6. Furniture scratch cover-up. Steep grounds and apply a bit of the liquid to furniture scratches with a Q-tip.

5. Cleaning product. As they’re slightly abrasive, grounds can be used as a scouring agent for greasy and grimy stain-resistant objects.

4. Kitty repellent. To keep kitty from using the garden as her personal powder room, sprinkle grounds mixed with orange peels around your plants.

3. Boost your carrot harvest. Mixing fresh grounds with the tiny seeds makes them easier to sow and may repel root maggots and other wee beasties.

2. Dust inhibitor. Before you clean out the fireplace, toss wet coffee grounds over the ashes to keep the ash dust under control.

And, finally, the #1 use for used coffee grounds....drum roll here....

Cellulite reducer. I kid you not.  We're supposed to mix 1/4 cup warm, used coffee grounds with 1 tablespoon of olive oil, then, while standing over an old towel or newspaper, we're to apply the mixture to our "problem areas". Next, wrap the areas with shrink wrap and leave on for several minutes. Unwind the wrap, brush loose grounds off our skin and then shower with warm water. For best results, it is recommended to repeat this procedure twice a week. A little weird to be sure, but as high priced cellulite creams actually have coffee in them, it just might work.

For even more uses of spent coffee grounds, visit cocoajava.com, essortment.com, rd.com and finally, mrsomalleys.com, who, if #1 works, should not have one jot of cellulite on her thighs. And if you have any secret uses for your used grounds, please share!
